Week 4
Alas, we have reached the final week in Argentina. This week felt different than most others. The mostly tidy agenda, loosened up a bit and we were able to explore more of the city in groups on our own. We took this opportunity to visit the museum inside La Casa Rosada. This museum is filled with historical artifacts of the leaders of Argentina along with timelines of events. Most interestingly, the museum has guards on rotation circulating the grounds.
Some of the girls and I travelled to Palermo to visit the Van Gogh exhibit one evening and we got to take in the nightlife like one of the locals. We made sure memorialize our night through lots of pictures and laughter!
To end our trip, we all got to go on a catamaran down the Tigre river. It was so fun to relax and go down the river that divides Uruguay and Argentina. Although it was cold, some of us decided to enjoy the ride from up top to take in the sights of all the families who live off the water.
